Dear Children

I have waited all the week for a letter from one of you. I wrote, Willie a long one since he left were only a Postal from him said you'd write soon. Jnddie is anxious as well as me xxx. Are you all sick? Father is coming down tomorrow. I wanted him to hear the particulars about the machine & how Rollin is ??. I got a letter from Ollie & she is blue & lonesome. I will go up there & see her if I can. I couldn't get a teem to go after Mrs. Stewart any may but I guess Ollie don't care about her coming very much if her grandson must do just as he pleases. Stewarts team is still busy. Judd will send some parsissime to them by Pearson next Monday. its too bad they had to wait so long. Maybe Ill write more later but its time I was getting breakfast. No one up but my ???. Almond starts to Salem Sunday Morning to be admitted to the Bar.

-----after breakfast--------

I wish you could see him. If Father does not come tonight Judd will go fishing in the morning with Foren's. So I must cook some today. The Marshal had the fire bell rang like something. The boys ran it was the old caboose he was finishing the burning. He had piled up everything & set fire to it.

Friday Well Willie Almond came over to night on some business. Will start Sunday for Salem. He told me he would come down to Clara's while there. He will tell you about the new ciscomeries of mines since you left . Now dear girl if Almond comes you'll be good to him you know I forgive R & you must do the same. I know you will, you are so kind you can't help it. God bless you & be with you till we meet again. Don't forget the One that has heard your prayer Let Him be first in your thoughts.

His will in every thing if Rollin sees you & willie faithful he will serve God too. dont let the love of money be more bearble to you than all you've ever had. It will if Satan has the control. Mother is praying for you.

good night.
